This is my personal story about GOD and His sign (or might be His will). Recalling of what had happened to me several months ago (August 2015). There is something so much bigger, something more rewarding to this life than what you see with your own eyes. Be amazed at the heights to which you are called. Be amazed GOD is choosing you for such nobleness.

LET IT BE..!

6 months ago, I was in a very calm and serene place called Pertapaan Karmel. I have a great sense and interest to meditation, so last year I decided to take one week leave from my job, escape from the busyness for awhile, and immerse myself in solitude.
When I prayed at that hermitage, I asked God to give me a sign. I truly needed HIS sign. I have so many plans and dreams to be achieved, and the odds were getting unlikely. Yet I refused to leave.

Shortly, this Praying Mantis (Latin: Mantis Religiosa) came to me on the last day of my hermitage. This Mantis joined with me in the Sunday Mass and even clung onto my body at that time. For almost 3 hours this animal went around from the palm of my right hand, climbed to my head, down to my shoulder, and went back to my head.

I believed this must be a good sign.
After back into my routine, I tried to figure out the meanings of Praying Mantis in the realms of animal symbolism.

And subsequently I found out this explanation on the internet:

The mantis comes to us when we need peace, quiet and calm in our lives. Usually the Mantis makes an appearance when we’ve flooded our lives with so much business, activity, or chaos that we can no longer hear the still small voice within us because of the external din we’ve created.
The Praying Mantis deals with stillness and patience. The Mantis takes her time, and lives her life at her own silent pace.

This Mantis had made me realize that I’ve been far away from GOD. I was too busy working and forget to spend time to pray, to hear the still small voice within me.

Thank YOU Lord JESUS. I have repeatedly fallen, but YOU still have never given up on me!
